Triathlon is what I do. My background in collegiate running and professional bike racing set me up to win three national titles in duathlon and earn my elite racing license at USAT Age Group Triathlon Nationals in my inaugural 2017 age-group triathlon season. In 2018, my rookie pro season, I focused on the IRONMAN 70.3 distance and earned a spot to race in the IM70.3 World Championship, where I placed 19th.
But why? These results have come as part of a furious comeback from a 50 pound weight gain in one year, quitting sport, and overcoming debilitating depression.
I'm committed to using this platform to motivate and inspire others to make their dreams a reality.
